The Garlic House

Spread the love

History of this place started back in 1850s when family of C. arrived to that farm. As first, typical for that time, it was sheep and cattle farm. Then in 1960 the farm evolves into mostly diary, along with mixed tillage. In 2008 Peter and Marita inherit the farm and begin to plan for a future. In the meantime it is still being leased to local farmers. In 2013, after extensive research and travels across Europe, the first garlic seeds are planted in late October and cared for throughout the winter. There is new house nearby now, and the one on the pictures looks like was left behind in 1996 as there are still wall calendars hanging there. Very nice location, currently in very bad condition, but still some newspapers and documents dated for 1938+ years.
